Sylvia Reitsma has been a Natural Health practitioner for 35 years.

She graduated from the NSW College of Natural Therapies in 1982 and has since practiced in Sydney and then Newcastle in multi-modality wholistic medicine centres. She enjoys working with a team of experienced and skilled practitioners.

Sylvia has taught Natural Therapies in leading colleges and is a Fellow of the Australian Natural Therapies Association. She has extensive experience in a wide variety of both acute and chronic conditions, finding that the best results for healing and well-being occur when the physical, mental and emotional aspects of a person are rebalanced.

Sylvia took up meditation in a very busy time of her life, and immediately found it useful in settling her restlessness and impatience. She found that all aspects of her life benefitted from meditation, including managing the effects of pain and surgeries. She teaches mindfulness meditation in a special way that only requires 10 to 15 minutes per day.

 

Sylvia has made many of her own Flower Essences in the local area and incorporates them into her Naturopathic and Homeopathic treatments.

Sylvia’s massage and reiki treatments are wholistic, gentle, nurturing and yet deep acting.
